Anne Report Photo
The Anne frank project was a report where we chose a word that we think best describes the book " Ahe Diary of A Young Girl," and write about it. I found it easy to work on the board fort he report. I think that I have improved the way I look at the book by seeing the images on Google and looking in the book for quotes.

I’m so happy and thankful that today is my birthday. I am now officially a teenager at the age of 13. As a gift, I received you, a diary that I will treasure forever. Since I have just gotten the royal privilege of having you, I will now and forever call you Kitty. I have so much to tell that I will have to start recording all that happens to me in my life. Right now I am living in our family’s Secret Annexe to hide from the Nazis. For some apparent reason an evil man Hitler believes that we Jews are bad, but I am glad that I am a Jew and I will always be. I am willing to put my life on the line just to survive during these hash times.
I am thankful every single day, not only because I have you, but to be alive at this time. Even though I am living through these harsh conditions, I will always be thankful for what I have. As I go on living in this environment, it’s good to be thankful and look on the Brightside. Some days I feel as if I am the only thankful one here. Once we get out of our Annexe, we will all be thankful.
As our life goes on surviving as Jews in our busy Secret Annexe, I have began to become lonely and bored out of my mind. To give myself something to do I spend some of my time looking out the window at the top of our Annexe, and I begin to realize I am not the only lonely one in the world right now. I see Danish children starving outside begging for bread with no one to help them.
I may have lost my citizenship, but I will not lose my confidence. Even now I am still a Jew inside. The Allies will win this war, and we will fight with no mercy till we win. I am sure we will make it out of the Annexe and avoid being captured. I can’t imagine how happy I will be when we are able to go back into the real world.
Every day I sit curious, listen to the radio, and hear how the Allies are getting closer to victory. You probably have no idea how curious you get up here in our precious Annexe. You begin to wonder how the world is outside.
Well Kitty, it’s been nice talking to you, and I look forward to recording my life in the near future.
Outsiders Reflection and Explanation
I enjoyed writing this paper on Ponyboys curiosity not only because I really liked the book The Outsiders, but because I was able to relate to the main character of this book. I found it a little hard to find the exact quotes from the book, to explain his curiosity. Luckily I found it easy to explain how I am curious not only at home, but also at school.
Curiosity is when someone wonders why or why not about a subject. You can be curious about anything such as how people know things about science or how people know history. It doesn’t take much to be curious, but it does take courage to ask questions in some situations. Ponyboy is curious in The Outsiders By S.E. Hinton.
Ponyboy’s curiosity occurs most often during the long and quiet moments that he and Two-Bit spend together. Ponyboy says, “… Didya catch em?”(pg. 12) He is wondering if Two-bit has caught the Socs after jumping Ponyboy. Two-Bit replies with a “Nup, they got away this time, the dirty…” Ponyboy replies with a sigh. He is curious where the Socs went since someone else could get hurt.
Also Ponyboy’s curiosity also occurs when Johnny stabs Bob, the Soc. After Johny kills Bob the Soc his anger gets the best of him. Ponyboy asks, “You really killed him, huh Johnny?”(pg. 57)He hopes that it is not true. Before Johny can speak, he wipes the tears off his face and says,
“‘Yeah.’ His voice quavered slightly. ‘I had to. They were drowning you, Pony.’ “Johnny doesn’t know at this point what he will do. He is curious about his future plans.
Finally, Ponyboy is curious when he is in school. Ponyboy sits listening while his teacher explains his assignment. Ponyboy begins to think of what he will write about and soon realizes he doesn’t know the topic. As the teacher explains how he wants him to try, Pony says, “Yessir, “I said, I’ll try. What’s the theme supposed to be on?” The teacher replies with, “Anything you think is important enough….” (pg. 170) It takes awhile for Ponyboy to come up with a topic, but he finally begins to write about his own life.
People who are curious are special to this world. Without people being curious, we probably wouldn’t know many things that scientists, detectives, religious people, and teachers have figured out. Being curious is a good skill to learn. It allows you to learn and be successful in your life. Many people that have been curious are Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, and students. Ponyboy is also curious in The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. Ponyboy is curious if the “fuzz” are after Dally. He is also curious as to where he and Johny are going to go after Johny kills Bob, the Soc. He is curious about what he will write about. Sometimes I am curious, but especially at school I usually wonder in science how scientists discovered so much about space. Sometimes I am afraid to ask questions. I am sometimes afraid of people making fun of me for not knowing something. As a compromise, I save time to ask the question after class.
My first task for seventh grade Language Arts, was to express myself by writing 3 sentences with only six words in each. I used decent vocab in my writing. It was a little difficult to come up with these peices. I also find it hard to explain myself with only six words. I learned that i was able to express myself and what i like to do in a diffucult way.
I enjoy biking. Watch me zoom.
Soccer: run, kick, zoom, gaol...YAY!
Pencils, paper, locker...to much school.
